Let’s try to post multiple images from the iPhone and see if I can make them be a gallery.
It turns out that I was able to upload multiple images from the iPhone but not as a gallery. I was, however, able to turn the post into a gallery without too much work.
This is my first attempt at a gallery added from a web UI.

This time I post a large image.
This is a posting of the same image but at the medium size.
This is the body of the message. I’ll try to upload an existing photo instead of the immediate photograph.
This post succeeded but used a small photo.
This was posted from the web client on a PC.
And so on and so forth…
