A view south up the Snake River in Hells Canyon. A few fishermen see what they can catch for dinner. The sun sets early in the canyon so it appears a bit dark for not even 8pm in the evening. Higher on the east canyon wall the landscape is still in direct sun. The equipment in the distance is part of the hydroelectric generation system for the Oxbow Dam located just on the other side of the ridge where you see the equipment near the water.
