TheRoadToStanley

A view of the scenery ahead along Idaho route 75 just south of Challis, Idaho. This road meanders up a wide river valley, a valley that becomes increasingly narrow until you find yourself winding through a tight canyon. Just a few miles after I took this photo, I was passed by another rider on a fully loaded BMW K1200S. So far during this trip, I knew that I had yet to fully explore the improved handling of the Vector. Knowing that the Vector, being a StreetRod, should have similar handling capabilities to the BMW, I decided to follow the BMW and use him as a guide. The next 40 miles of travel marked the most aggressive riding that I've ever done. When we reached Stanley, the BMW rider and I stopped for gas together and the BMW rider voiced his surprise that a Harley was able to keep up with him. God, it was an absolute joy.
