The skyline of Houghton, Michigan, seen from the opposite valley wall above Hancock, Michigan. The tall buildings to the left of the skyline are on the Michigan Technological University campus where I went to college (a lifetime ago). Back then the trees in the foreground were shorter and afforded a better view. Time changes everything.
